Lynwood: Fatal Deputy Shooting Sparks Outrage And Protests

The video was captured by on lookers, where some sources say up to 30 shots were fired.

The video showed deputies repeatedly firing at the man, even after he fell to the ground  crawling.

According to sources, Relatives identified the suspect as Nicholas Robertson, 28.

Officials allege a gun was found on the scene sources say.

Protest have begun, as many are outraged.

First off we want to send our condolences and deepest prayers to the family friends and to all those whom surrounded him with love, including to all law enforcement..

We are deeply troubled and saddened by this terrible tragedy.

Sgt. Steven Owen, 53, died at a hospital about two hours after he was shot by a suspected burglar in Lancaster while answering a call of burglary.

LA: Former Sheriff Lee Baca Pleads Guilty

Los Angeles, CA –

Many residents are relieved but want investigations to continue, according to a source.

Former County Sheriff Lee Baca plead guilty to a federal charge of lying to investigators during a FBI probe.

Baca retired after leading the Sheriff’s dept. for 15 years, in 2014 ‘during the probe’ into misconduct and abuse by deputies in the county jail system.

According to sources, up to 17 former sheriff’s Officers have been convicted associated to the probe and Baca could be 18th.

Baca faces up to six months in a Federal jail, should the judge accept the plea, we have not heard if any fines would also be imposed.

Media outlets are reporting that ‘Baca said in a statement that he made a mistake and accepts being held accountable’.

Sources say, Federal authorities will remain vigilant in their oversight of the department.

One resident said:

Where good deputies were at the time this was happening still leaves many puzzled as into ‘ How Could Many Just Not Know ‘ ?

however many are relieved, that convictions are occurring.
